Facebook ads unwittingly link depression to alcohol and betting clients

Looking at Facebook ads today, whilst logged in I can see that there’s a common theme.

So what part of their algorithm links depression to alcohol and betting – it’s true of course but do their clients want that to be shown whilst trying to sign me up?

Here’s what’s being advertised to me on the one page: betting, booze, betting, depression, booze and betting.
