I am on the advisor panel of Sydney’s Festival of branded content & entertainment.
The Festival of Branded Content and Entertainment celebrates “branded entertainment and brand funded content in all its creative breadth and ingenuity. The ambition is to recognise the importance of branded content and entertainment in connecting brands directly with customers.”
dianomi promote branded content by brands such as HSBC and Aberdeen Asset Management but I’m also very interested to see examples from elsewhere as native advertising, integration and branded content are such buzzwords at the moment.
We need to celebrate the good stuff as there are plenty of examples where press releases are being re-written or brands crowbar’d into editorial – obvious stuff that really turn readers off.
The closing date for entries is the 25th August 2013.
